Water Professionals International (WPI) will be hosting the first ever Train the Trainer certificate course at The Water Tower! Developed through The Water Tower's WTR Hub, this EPA funded program is designed to help water professionals turn their subject matter expertise into powerful, impactful teaching.
Through this Program, trainers will:
- Learn practical, effective strategies for teaching adult learners and designing instructional experiences, from content delivery to assessments.
- Discover instructional best-practices and develop a toolbox of training strategies and methodologies.
- Strengthen their professional credibility with a nationally recognized certificate that demonstrates strong competency in training design and delivery.
What You'll Learn:
- Understand the core principles of adult learning and know how to apply them in real-world water industry training environments.
- Design learner-centered courses that keep participants engaged through hands-on, interactive activities.
- Choose and use the right instructional strategies, like discussions, demonstrations, case studies, and problem-solving exercises, to meet the needs of different learners.
