Description
ABOUT
This class is for utility staff interested in obtaining an entry level Drinking Water Operator Certification (GA Class III, AL Exam Prep Course). Trainees will gain the skills necessary to operate and maintain water treatment facilities while ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. This course provides the required training hours for the Georgia Class III Drinking Water Operator Certification (40 hours) and meets the WPI Need-to-Know topics.
COURSE SCHEDULE
This course if virtual only, with a live instructor and asynchronous assignments. The class will meet virtually once a week, on Wednesdays, from August 19th through December 16th, from 9am-11:30am (EST). Weekly online assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. Participation in instructor led sessions and completion of weekly virtual assignments are required for attendance.

This class is for individuals who are already working at a utility, in the skilled-trades pathways. Use the registration link to sign up for the class. The link to the virtual session will be emailed to registrants two days before the start of the class.
