SUMMARY: During class time, the student will be given multiple real world hands on training opportunities. These include live leak repair, making live taps & proper use and care for hand tools. This course places high emphasis on multiple safety topics including heavy equipment & trench safety. This class is for anyone interested in obtaining a GA Distribution Systems Operator certification. The course covers the design, installation, inspection, repair and testing of a water distribution system. This course provides the required training hours for the GA Distribution Systems Operator certification & meets the ABC Needs-to-Know topics. Upon completion, each student will have a greater understanding a multiple different best practices for a successful career.
